Before work began, the rear of this Portsmouth property offered limited living space and little connection to the garden. The existing layout no longer met the needs of modern family living, making a rear extension the ideal solution to create a larger, brighter, and more functional home.

Working closely with the homeowner, we designed a rear extension that would maximise usable space, introduce more natural light, and create a seamless flow between the house and garden. The project includes structural alterations, steel beam installation, French doors, and a large roof skylight.

With the groundworks completed and construction now underway, this extension is well on its way to becoming a modern open-plan living space that will add both practicality and long-term value to the property.
